The gaiata 15 Sequiol was the winner of the 2026 hand gaiata contest. The contest had the participation of the 19 Sector Commissions from Castelló in Category A.

In Category B, aimed at individuals and associations, three proposals were submitted. These were presented by the Federació de Colles, the Colla Bacalao, and Laura Traver Melià.

The hand gaiata contest is a traditional event that is part of the festivities in Castelló, celebrating gaiatas as an important cultural element of the region.
