Santarém hosted the world elite of teqball and reinforces its status as a "reference city" in the sport

Santarém hosted the international elite of teqball between August 27 and 29, during another stage of the Challenger Teqball League. The competition brought together 62 athletes representing 15 different nationalities, including several world champions of the sport. The event was integrated into the World Circuit of the Teqball Federation, attracting some of the best practitioners of the discipline globally. The Santarém stage was also marked by the distinction achieved by the local athletes, from the "Caixeiros" de Santarém formation, who managed to establish themselves among the international competition. This organization consolidates Santarém's status as a "reference city" in teqball, demonstrating the municipality's capacity to host competitions of high sporting level.
