Marítimo announced the signing of striker Mons Bassouamina, 28 years old. The player thus reinforces the Portuguese club, joining the team for the new season.
Bassouamina was born in the French city of Gonesse, but is of Congolese descent. The player's football career began at Sarcelles, where he took his first steps in the sport.
In 2013, he joined Nancy, a club where he completed his training and remained for six seasons, representing both the B team and the first team of the club.
Before arriving at Marítimo, the striker represented US Boulogne, Bastia-Borgo and Pau FC. It was precisely at Pau FC that Bassouamina stood out in professional French football, earning his place in the sporting scene.
