Metro line construction linking Maia to Trofa requires demolition of homes

The construction of the new metro line linking the municipalities of Maia and Trofa will require the demolition of several homes situated along the planned route.

The project also includes the construction of a road tunnel that will allow crossing the area covered by the project.

In addition to the tunnel, the work plan also includes the construction of several viaducts along the route of the railway line.

The project thus aims to improve the metro connection between these two municipalities in the Porto district, extending the existing network in the metropolitan area.
