Carlo Ancelotti, Brazil's national team coach, made a visit to Real Madrid, the club that was led by José Mourinho during the season in question. The Italian coach went to the Spanish club's facilities for a meeting with the Portuguese coach.
During the visit, Ancelotti also took the opportunity to reunite with his former players from Real Madrid, a club he managed between 2013 and 2015, winning the Champions League in 2014.
The meeting between the two coaches, both with deep connections to Spanish football, took place at a time of transition in their respective careers, with Mourinho leading the Madrid team and Ancelotti preparing for the challenge of coaching the Brazilian national team.
