The lawyer and energy specialist NJ Ayuk presented this Wednesday, in Luanda, the book "Crude Oil: Power, Turnaround and Transformation in Angola." The work reconstructs the reforms that reshaped Angola's oil sector and seeks to demonstrate how regulatory and institutional change helped recover investors' confidence in the country.
The launch event took place in one of the hotels in the Angolan capital. Ayuk, who is recognized as a specialist in the African energy sector, uses his experience to analyze the transformation of the oil sector in Angola.
The book addresses the concept of the "turnaround" of Angolan oil, suggesting a significant change in the way the sector operates in the country. The work focuses particularly on the implemented reforms that contributed to the return of international capital to the Angolan energy sector.
