Silvia Abravanel rebutted the criticism she received for using her father's image, Silvio Santos, in her electoral campaign. The businesswoman is running for the position of Federal Deputy for São Paulo for the PSD.
She made an outburst on her Instagram profile on Wednesday. Silvia stated that she did not read the criticism directly, but that she heard people talking about the matter.
Silvia said that the situation hurt other people, her daughters, her husband, her friends, and some people in her family. She declared that she has people who like her and walk the same path.
The presenter reiterated that she does not intend to remove Silvio Santos' image from her campaign materials because of the criticism. She highlighted that Senor Abravanel is her father and that Silvio Santos was her boss.
