Severino Fernández has been dedicated for years to building replicas in Lego, a hobby that became the project called "Castellón en Bricks", which allows you to walk through part of the city of Castelló through detailed constructions. The project already brings together approximately 387,000 Lego pieces and took six years to complete, having started during the pandemic.
Among the buildings represented are the concathedral, the Fadrí, the City Hall, the Plaza Mayor, the Calle Mayor, the Skyfi Castalia Stadium, the Basilica de Lledó, the Casino, the Lonja, the Casa Abadía, the Santa Clara Square and the Magdalena. The exhibition is linked to the celebrations of the city's 775th anniversary.
Fernández explains that the main objective was that any visitor could see, with considerable realism, all the emblematic buildings of Castelló. The project began to be developed during the pandemic and represents an original way to preserve and show the architectural heritage of the city through Lego pieces.
