The Colombian footballer Richard Ríos left this Thursday for Saudi Arabia to join Al Ittihad on loan from Benfica. The 24-year-old midfielder thus leaves the Portuguese club after a stint that did not have the expected continuity.
In exclusive statements to CNN and Maisfutebol, Ríos stated that Benfica fans were always "perfect ten" with him, showing gratitude for the support received during his time at the club.
When asked about the future, the player left a note of uncertainty by stating that "I can't say much" and that "in the end I can come back," suggesting that the loan move may not be definitive.
Al Ittihad, a club from Saudi Arabia, is the chosen destination for the Colombian midfielder's loan, who is thus seeking more playing time after a season with few opportunities in Lisbon.
