The Association of Scouts of Portugal celebrates its 113th anniversary next Saturday, September 5th, at the Ecological Park in Funchal. The event marks another year of existence of the scouting organization in the country.

The anniversary ceremony will feature the presence of the mayor of Funchal City Hall, who will be present at the festivities. The councilor responsible for the Environment portfolio will also join, reinforcing the institutional ties between the municipality and the association.

The regional director of Youth will also attend the event, underscoring the importance of the scouting movement for the development of young people. The choice of the Ecological Park in Funchal as the location for the celebrations aligns with the environmental theme associated with the space.
