The Secretary of State for Agriculture, João Moura, carried out on September 1st a visit to the agricultural innovation hubs installed at Herdades da Abóboda and dos Lameirões, in Alentejo. The objective of the trip was to learn about experimentation projects, knowledge transfer and modernization of agricultural activity that are being developed in the region.
During the visit, João Moura was able to verify on site the work being carried out at these innovation hubs, which represent initiatives directed towards research and technological advancement in the Alentejo agricultural sector.
The visit was also attended by the president of the entity responsible for managing the innovation hubs, reinforcing the institutional importance of this trip and the commitment of the authorities to the development of the agricultural sector in the region.
This initiative comes in the context of a continuous effort to modernize agriculture in Alentejo, a region that has invested in innovation and research as fundamental tools for the progress of the primary sector.
