The XIV Traditional Grape Treading returns to Celeirós do Douro on September 19th and 20th, representing one of the most emblematic traditions of the municipality of Sabrosa and the Douro region. The event is already considered an integral part of the cultural calendar of the municipality.
The organization of the event is in charge of the Parish Council of Celeirós do Douro, in partnership with the Municipality of Sabrosa and the Douro XXI Association, who together coordinate this initiative that celebrates local tradition.
The Traditional Grape Treading is an activity that reflects the historical winemaking practices of the region, keeping alive an important part of the cultural and gastronomic heritage of Celeirós do Douro and the Douro communities.
