Alcanena fulfills main investments and maintains focus on housing

Alcanena reached the deadline of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) on August 31 without significant concerns regarding the works financed by the program. The mayor of Alcanena, Rui Anastácio (PSD), confirmed to the Ecclesia news agency that the investments financed by the PRR are progressing without major problems in the municipality.

According to the mayor, the PRR investments in Alcanena represent "many millions" of euros, but there are no major concerns regarding the execution of these projects. The municipality managed to fulfill the main planned investments within the deadline established by the European recovery program.

At the same time, Alcanena maintains its focus on housing, continuing to invest in this area through alternative financing to the PRR. This strategy allows the municipality to continue housing projects even after the eligibility period of the Recovery and Resilience Plan ends.
