Vitórias 2026 kicks off this Thursday in the city of Lixa, running until Monday, September 7, for a total of five days of festivities. The program includes music, tradition, processions, folklore, DJs and pyrotechnic shows, spread across DJ Square, Praça Ferrinhos and other locations in the city. According to the organizers, "Vitórias is back" and the lineup "is complete," promising "five unforgettable days."
The first day starts at 9:00 AM with the Festive Dawn, followed by the lighting inauguration at 8:30 PM and the Drum Parade at 9:00 PM. Friday is dedicated to the Mass and Candlelight Procession, with performances by Corpo e Alma and Quim Barreiros at the bustling Artists' Square. Saturday hosts the 34th Folk Festival, preceded by the Flower Parade and the Battle of Flowers, followed by the Illuminated Marches at midnight.
Sunday is the central day of the festivities, with performances by the Felgueiras and Lixa Music Bands, recitation of the rosary at the Chapel of Nossa Senhora das Vitórias, the Majestic Procession, Solemn Mass and a Grand Pyrotechnic Show at 11:30 PM. Monday closes with the traditional Onion Fair and performances by Última Gota and Nininho Vaz Maia, followed by another pyrotechnic show at midnight.
In parallel, Praça Ferrinhos hosts the Vitórias'26 afterparty, with a lineup of DJs for every night, including names like Lowie, Myk, DJ Peter Wolf, Deeptotronic and DJ Brandão. Every day also features resident DJ DJ Sil, providing "nights of lots of music, dancing and energy" until the program ends.
