Most Rock in Rio shows follow a window of approximately 100 minutes, but throughout the festival's history some artists turned their performances into true musical marathons, exceeding the three-hour mark or coming very close to it. The festival returns this Friday (4th), at Cidade do Rock, in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro, for its 11th edition.
Artists like Guns N' Roses and Bruce Springsteen are among the names that ignored the idea of the clock during their performances at the event. With extensive setlists, solos, jams and special moments, they delivered shows that significantly exceeded three hours in duration.
The band Guns N' Roses holds the record for one of the longest shows in Rock in Rio history. The performance took place in 2017, on the Mundo stage of the festival, and stood out for its exceptional duration.
