Carlos Queiroz will continue in charge of Ghana's national team, the Black Stars, after reaching an agreement with the country's football federation. The Portuguese coach had left the position after the 2026 World Cup, but is now returning to lead the team again.
The Ghanaian federation confirmed Queiroz's return, who will lead a new sporting cycle. This new project begins immediately with participation in qualification for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.
This is Carlos Queiroz's second stint in charge of Ghana, having previously managed the African national team. With his return, the Portuguese coach intends to rebuild the team following his last spell and the period between the two stages.
