The Ordos region, in Inner Mongolia, northern China, houses an ecological park created by CHN Energy on an old coal mine in the desert. The project demonstrates how areas degraded by mining can be recovered, with animal species that had not been seen for a long time returning to the region.
CHN Energy, which grew and consolidated in the coal chain, is one of the companies that invests the most in large integrated clean energy projects. The company helps explain Chinese leadership both in renewable energy generation and in equipment production for this industry with highly competitive prices in the international market.
In June, the company's total installed capacity reached 400 GW, with renewable energy participation exceeding 41%. Xin Renye, manager of the general affairs division of the company's Management Department, was mentioned as the source for these data.
