Lisbon Area Operates with "Minimum Staff" for Needs

The commander of the Lisbon Metropolitan Command (Cometlis) of the PSP today defended the need for a reinforcement of police officers for the largest command in the country. According to the official, the area under Cometlis jurisdiction is currently operating with "minimum staff" for all existing needs. The situation raises concerns about the police response capacity in the Lisbon region.
