The Volunteer Firefighters of Salvaterra de Magos intervened quickly to combat a fire that broke out at Madeca, a wood treatment company located in Salvaterra de Magos. The rapid response of the firefighters was essential in preventing more serious damage from the fire.

The fire started at 11:26 PM on Wednesday, September 2. The alert received indicated that the flames had begun in a wood storage area of the company. The immediate intervention of the firefighters made it possible to control the situation before the losses worsened.
