The Ivorian footballer Konan signed for Wolverhampton Wanderers, a club known as Wolves. The forward, 30 years old, closed a one-season contract with the English team.

This transfer marks the reunion between Konan and César Peixoto, current Wolves coach. The two had previously worked together, and the player will once again be coached by the Portuguese manager.

Konan's previous experience under Peixoto's command is said to have been a determining factor in choosing the English club, which is betting on signing a player already familiar with his working methods.
