The Public Security Police arrested two men in Lisbon for drug trafficking. The suspects were caught selling drugs in plain sight, in an operation that aimed to dismantle a drug sales network in the Portuguese capital.
Following the arrests, the authorities seized five kilos of hashish, an unspecified amount of cocaine and heroin. In addition to the drugs, 10 thousand euros in cash and a weapon were also confiscated.
The PSP carried out the operation with the aim of suppressing drug trafficking in the city of Lisbon, where the sale of illicit substances has been a constant concern for security authorities.
