Delivery Hero, owner of Glovo, accepted the purchase offer presented by Uber for almost 13 billion euros. This transaction represents one of the largest moves in the food and consumer goods delivery sector in Europe.

Delivery Hero's management considered that the offer presented by Uber is in the best interest of the company, its shareholders, workers and other stakeholders. For this reason, it recommended Delivery Hero's shareholders accept the proposal.

Uber, a North American technology company for transport and deliveries, thus strengthens its position in the European delivery market by incorporating Glovo, which operates in several countries on the continent. The amount involved of almost 13 billion euros reflects the size and strategic importance of Glovo in the sector.
