TAP Air Portugal, the leading airline on routes between Europe and Brazil, presented a set of novelties to personalize the passenger experience on its flights. The measures include new travel kits for long-haul flights, free access to PressReader on board, the Skip Meal option, and a partnership with LUGGit for luggage services.
The new travel kits, designated the "The Blaze" collection, are being made available to Business and Economy Prime class passengers on long-haul flights. The collection features a renewed design, recycled materials, and products from national companies such as socks from PEDEMEIA and wellness products from the brand 8950, inspired by the landscapes and aromas of the Algarve. The kits also include accessories such as bamboo toothbrushes and kraft paper packaging, reflecting the airline's commitment to sustainability and Portuguese identity.
TAP has also made PressReader, a digital library of newspapers and magazines, available free of charge on the Airbus A330-900 and A321LR through the aircraft's Wi-Fi portal. The catalog includes national and international publications from various areas. The Skip Meal option has also been introduced on long-haul flights, allowing passengers who prefer to rest without being interrupted to register this preference in advance through the TAP website or app, also contributing to the reduction of food waste.
The airline has also established a partnership with LUGGit for luggage collection, storage and delivery services at the airports of Lisbon, Porto, Madrid, Barcelona, and Athens. The solution allows passengers to choose the collection or delivery location, including airport, hotel, residence, or another indicated address, both at origin and destination, allowing them to move around the city without carrying their bags.
