A floating island reappeared 32 kilometres off the Canadian coast, having been missing for an indeterminate period. The formation did not appear on any map or nautical chart, which made its discovery even more surprising for those who approached it.
A sailor managed to get close to the formation and filmed the moment, recording almost 100 trees swaying with the movement of the water. The images revealed a mass of land covered in vegetation slowly moving across the ocean.
This phenomenon raises questions about the origin and nature of these floating formations, which can appear unexpectedly and remain undocumented for long periods. The lack of cartographic records suggests the island may have been submerged or only partially visible for years.
