The Master case generated 20.8 million impacts and mentions on social media in 24 hours, according to a survey by consulting firm Ativaweb DataLab. The digital debate exploded after conversations between Daniel Vorcaro and the minister of the Supreme Federal Court Alexandre de Moraes, with 98% of mentions to the minister being critical.
The heating of the debate occurred on Tuesday, after a Federal Police report pointed to suspicion that Vorcaro turned to Moraes at the height of the Master financial institution's crisis to escape the encirclement of authorities.
The document, produced by order of Minister André Mendonça, rapporteur of the investigations into the Master case, gathers dialogues that also make references to the Attorney General of Brazil, Paulo Gonet, and to the director-general of the PF, Andrei Rodrigues.
The consulting firm's data shows that the digital debate began concentrated on Vorcaro and Moraes, but quickly expanded to involve the figures mentioned in the revealed conversations.
