Benicàssim will bring forward this year its festive calendar one week before the official start of the patron saint celebrations. The Town Hall will transfer to the weekend of September 11 and 12 the proclamation of Lucía Pallarés Hernández and Aina Escuder Borrego as major and infant queen, respectively.
The objective of this change is to reserve for this event and for the beginning of the mandate of the new courts a space of its own, giving them more prominence and visibility within the festivities.
In this way, the proclamation of the festivities of Benicàssim will take place one week earlier than initially planned, altering the traditional calendar of the city.
