CCXP announced that it will hold an unprecedented panel about Marta's biopic, six times elected the world's best player by FIFA. The event is scheduled for Sunday, December 6, and will feature the presence of the athlete herself, in addition to actress Alice Carvalho, who will play the lead in the feature film.
The film is a production by Conspiração, also responsible for distribution, in coproduction with Globo Filmes, TV Globo and the Swedish company Fox In The Snow. The direction is by Andrucha Waddington, a filmmaker known for works such as "Vitória" and "Casa de Areia".
The biopic will portray Marta's trajectory from her origins in Dois Riachos, in the backlands of Alagoas, to her career as a multi-awarded athlete. Alice Carvalho was confirmed as the lead of the feature film, which is expected to be released on April 8, 2027, coinciding with the period when Brazil will host the Women's World Cup.
This will be the first edition of CCXP that Marta will participate in throughout her entire career. According to the event organizers, the athlete's story brings together elements of a great narrative, marked by overcoming obstacles, international achievements, and social impact.
