US Judge Rejects Request to Split Google's Advertising Business

A US judge rejected a request to split Google's advertising business. The decision was made as part of an antitrust case against the company.

The judge responsible for the case is Leonie Brinkema. In her ruling, she explained the reasons for her decision.

Brinkema stated that she prefers to implement a series of measures to regulate Google's advertising business, rather than promoting the breakup of the company.

A graduate in Electrical Engineering from ESTS, Brígido began his career at PMI in Portugal in 1999 and, over more than two decades, held Operations management positions in South Korea, Brazil and the Philippines, also having led the factory in Otopeni, Romania. The Crespellano unit, inaugurated in 2016, was the first of the group dedicated to large-scale production of heated tobacco products and hosts PMI's largest Industrial Center of Excellence. Brígido states he carries with him the experience of a highly competitive operation focused on rigor and people.
