Minister wants GDP per capita at European average

Minister Castro Almeida defended that Portugal should aim to reach a Gross Domestic Product per capita equal to the European average. Currently, Portuguese GDP per capita stands at only 80% of the European average.

According to the government official, it is essential to change the country's paradigm to achieve this objective. The statement comes in the context of a debate on Portugal's economic future.

The target presented by Castro Almeida represents a significant challenge for the country, considering the distance still existing in relation to the European average.

The Crespellano unit, inaugurated in 2016, was the first of the group dedicated to large-scale production of heated tobacco products and hosts PMI's largest Industrial Center of Excellence. Brígido states he carries with him the experience of a highly competitive operation focused on rigor and people.
