The Iminente Festival celebrates this year its tenth anniversary with a special edition that will give new life to an abandoned school in Marvila, Lisbon. The event runs from September 17 to 20 and is part of the Festas de Lisboa.
The festival takes place at the Afonso Domingues primary school, a building that was abandoned and now hosts this cultural programming. The choice of this space reflects the festival's mission to occupy and revitalize forgotten places.
The event features more than a hundred artists, among whom Original Kappa and DJ Premier stand out, names of great prestige in the music scene. The lineup includes various proposals of music, urban art, and contemporary culture.
The festival was created by Alexandre Farto, known artistically as Vhils, a Portuguese artist of international renown in urban art. This edition marks a decade of activity of the festival in the Portuguese capital.
