The basic food basket in Portugal has once again recorded a price increase, exceeding 254 euros. This value represents the cost of the 63 products monitored by DECO PROteste, a consumer defense organization.
In a single week, the price of this set of essential products increased by 2.11 euros, reflecting the continuation of inflationary pressure on food goods in the country.
DECO PROteste has been regularly monitoring the evolution of these prices, allowing consumers to follow changes in the cost of living related to basic food.
The upward trend observed since the beginning of the year continues, highlighting the difficulties that Portuguese families face in accessing essential food products.
