Tourism in the Alentejo grew 7.5% during the summer, representing the highest growth among all regions of the country when compared to last year's numbers.

This inland region of Portugal will close another summer season considered historical in terms of tourism results.

Those responsible for the sector in the Alentejo are already preparing strategies for the next period, focusing on attracting visitors during autumn and winter, seeking to maintain the growth rate achieved during the summer months.
