Omoda is only four years old and already flying high: who makes its cars and what models it sells in Spain

El Periódico Mediterráneo - General2 September 2026 at 17:10

Omoda is only four years old and has already reached a relevant position in the automotive sector. The brand was born in 2022, officially arrived in Spain in February 2024 and, in just over two years, went from being completely unknown to having three SUVs, more than 100 sales and after-sales points, and thousands of cars registered in the country. The company grew at an unusual speed in the sector, rapidly consolidating itself in the Spanish market. Omoda currently offers three SUV models in its catalog for the Spanish market, complemented by a network of more than a hundred sales and technical service establishments distributed throughout the territory. With this accelerated growth, the brand managed to establish a significant presence in the Spanish automotive industry in a very short space of time.
