Influencer Mari Menezes announced on her social media that she was diagnosed with a rare disease called chronic spontaneous urticaria. She had been reporting skin itching for more than a month and had redness in various parts of her body.
After experiencing the symptoms, Mari sought an allergist to have exams done and obtain an accurate diagnosis. The influencer explained that the condition is rare but benign, and that the redness that appears on her neck is a manifestation of the disease, especially when she feels anxious.
According to Mari Menezes, chronic spontaneous urticaria can last for years or come and go. She stated that the treatment will last four months and consists of taking medication every 12 hours.
The influencer commented that the disease may stay with her for the rest of her life, but that it can also improve at any moment, whether during the four months of treatment or in just a few days.
