Food basket rises again by 2.11 euros last week to 254.73 euros

The food basket rose again by 2.11 euros last week, now settling at 254.73 euros. This increase represents yet another rise in the cost of essential products for Portuguese families.

According to data released by Deco Proteste, this consumer defense organization that regularly monitors basic product prices, the upward trend has remained constant.

Exactly one year ago, it was possible to purchase the same food basket products for 14.17 euros less, which shows a significant cumulative increase over twelve months.

This rise reinforces concerns about the impact of the cost of living on families, in a context where food product prices continue to pressure household budgets.

The Crespellano unit, inaugurated in 2016, was the first of the group dedicated to large-scale production of heated tobacco products and hosts PMI's largest Industrial Center of Excellence. Brígido states he carries with him the experience of a highly competitive operation focused on rigor and people.
