The MUSCARIUM festival will take place between September 4 and 20, at teatromosca, in Sintra, marking the 12th and final edition in the format that has made it a reference in the region's cultural programming. This farewell edition focuses on artistic residencies and collaborative creation, with partnerships such as Colectivo Glovo, Festival Clarão and koletivo Unidigrazz.
The program also includes creative laboratories run by Quorum Ballet, Diogo Andrade and Teatro À Faca. The opening is scheduled for September 4, at 9:00 PM, at AMAS – Auditório Municipal António Silva, with the unveiling of a free-entry photography exhibition, followed by the screening of the film "Entroncamento", by Pedro Cabeleira.
Over more than two weeks, the festival presents concerts, exhibitions, film screenings and performances in various spaces around the municipality of Sintra. The organization states that, in 2027, MUSCARIUM will return with a reformulated mission, dedicated exclusively to the promotion of contemporary dramaturgy for young audiences.
The full program is already available online, where you can find all initiatives, purchase tickets and sign up for free activities.
