The Portuguese forward Darwin Núñez spoke publicly for the first time after leaving Al Hilal, the Saudi Arabian club where he remained for only about five months. The former Benfica player took to social media to vent about the negative experience he had at the Arabic club.
Núñez described his months at Al Hilal as extremely complicated, publicly expressing his suffering during the period he was at the club. The forward revealed that he doesn't wish on anyone the experience he had during his time at the Arabic club.
The player's situation became significantly more complicated when Karim Benzema arrived at Al Hilal. With the signing of the French forward, former Real Madrid player, Darwin lost space in the starting eleven and had fewer and fewer opportunities to play, which contributed to his decision to leave the club.
The former Benfica player ended his venting with a message directed at Al Hilal fans, thanking them for the support received during his brief spell at the club, although the overall experience was marked by the difficult moments he faced both on and off the pitch.
