The Reserva Cultural de Niterói completed ten years of activities in September. The building, located in São Domingos, was designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer and has the shape of a 35mm film reel, with the proposal to transform cinema into an experience that goes beyond the screen.
The birthday program brings together music, gastronomy, cinema and gatherings. Among the attractions, a show by Pretinho da Serrinha is confirmed. The anniversary coincides with another milestone of Niemeyer's architecture in the city: the MAC (Museum of Contemporary Art) celebrates 30 years in the same month.
To mark the date, Reserva Cultural prepares an unprecedented attraction. For the first time, one of the cinema rooms will be transformed into a dance floor. Next Friday (4), room 3 hosts Baile do Francês, from 10pm to 2am, with DJ Rick Miranda and four hours of disco music.
