The young Madeiran Gustavo Silveira, 20 years old, made his debut for the Montana team, which competes in the Bulgarian Second League, last Sunday. The former left-back of the Marítimo under-23 team came on at the 69th minute of the match.
The Montana team defeated Lokomotiv Gorna 3-0, at home, in the sixth round of the Bulgarian competition. This match marked the first official appearance of Gustavo Silveira wearing the jersey of his new club.
Gustavo Silveira decided this season to take a new direction in his career, after finishing his contract with Marítimo, the club where he developed and played in the youth ranks up to the under-23 team.
The choice of Montana, a team in the Bulgarian Second Division, thus represents the beginning of a new phase in the international career of the young Portuguese player, who now seeks to establish himself abroad.
