Singer-songwriter Amanda Magalhães, originally from Rio de Janeiro and currently living in São Paulo, has just released her third album, titled "Era Uma Vez o Amanhã." The album features ten original tracks in which the artist blends rap, new MPB, groove, and regional rhythms.
According to Amanda herself, the project was born from the desire to look toward the future without forgetting who wrote the past. In an interview, she commented that the album questions the promises of progress that brought society to where it is today.
Following the release, Amanda Magalhães is preparing a season of shows in the state of Rio de Janeiro. The schedule includes performances through the Sesc circuit, beginning at the Centro Cultural Arte Sesc, in Flamengo, on September 18 at 7 PM.
The tour continues with shows in Madureira on the 19th, Cocotá on the 25th, and Barra Mansa on the 26th of September.
