OFFICIAL: Estrela loans van Hooijdonk to PEC Zwolle

Estrela da Amadora has loaned striker van Hooijdonk to PEC Zwolle, a Dutch club, for the current season. The transfer was officially confirmed by both parties involved.

The 26-year-old Dutch player will represent the Zwolle side in the Eredivisie, the Netherlands' top league. The agreement between the clubs includes an option to purchase by PEC Zwolle, allowing the Dutch side to permanently acquire the striker.

Van Hooijdonk was linked to Estrela da Amadora, who loaned the player to gain more playing time and international experience. The Portuguese club benefited from this operation to free up space in their squad.

PEC Zwolle is looking for reinforcements for their team in the fight for survival in the Dutch top division. The Dutch striker will have the opportunity to demonstrate his abilities in a competitive league such as the Eredivisie.
