Enzo Fernández is officially a Manchester City player. The English club reached an agreement with Chelsea for the transfer of the Argentine midfielder.

Manchester City paid Chelsea a fee of around 146 million euros for the signing of the 22-year-old player.

Enzo Fernández, who was a World Cup champion with the Argentina national team at Qatar 2022, joined Chelsea in January 2023. Coming from River Plate, the young midfielder quickly became one of the biggest promises in world football.

This transfer makes Enzo Fernández the most expensive player in Premier League history, surpassing the previous record held by Jack Grealish.
