Major-General Isidro de Morais Pereira analyzed a Russian attack on Ukraine, describing it as an attempt to isolate and cause damage to the Ukrainian economy.

The officer detailed the use of various weapons employed in the attack, including Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles, Kalibr cruise missiles, Kh-101 missiles and attack drones.

According to the Major-General, the vast majority of the projectiles were intercepted by Ukrainian air defenses, which partially mitigated the effects of the attack.

The attack targets Ukraine's critical infrastructure, aiming to weaken the country's economic and logistical capacity in the context of the ongoing conflict.
