Israeli forces arrest Hamas internal security chief

Israeli forces detained the head of Hamas's internal security. The arrest was confirmed by Benjamin Netanyahu, who congratulated the Israeli forces for the operation.

According to the Israeli prime minister, the detainee was responsible for hiding and transporting Israeli hostages, hiding senior Hamas officials and strengthening the capabilities of the terrorist organization.

Netanyahu also stated that the prisoner attempted to restore Hamas's operational capacity.
