The Portuguese government backtracked and did not confirm the rescue of a Portuguese citizen in Nepal, after having given previous indications about their recovery.
There are approximately 4,000 people missing due to the floods that occurred a week ago on the border between Nepal and Tibet.
Of those missing, almost 600 are citizens of 39 different countries, with Portugal being included in that list of affected countries.
