A Federal Police report indicates that Daniel Vorcaro, owner of Banco Master, received guidance from Justice Alexandre de Moraes of the Supreme Federal Court during the crisis at the financial institution. The suspicion arose from messages extracted from the banker's phone, analyzed by the Federal Police.
The analyzed conversations span a period of 13 days. In them, Vorcaro asked the magistrate to intervene to prevent the bank's liquidation and the advancement of investigations. The banker made appeals to "sensitize" authorities and asked about how he should proceed to "disarm" and "reverse" the situation.
According to the investigations, Vorcaro wrote the texts in a phone notes app, took a screenshot, and sent it to Moraes as a view-once message. The document containing the conversations was produced by the Federal Police based on analysis of the banker's device.
The report was forwarded to Justice André Mendonça, also of the STF, as part of Operation Compliance Zero, which investigates suspected financial fraud involving Banco Master.
