Sporting confirmed the loan of Pedro Gonçalves to Fiorentina, the Italian football club. The transfer has been formalized and represents another departure of a Portuguese player abroad.

The Italian club pays 2.5 million euros for the loan of the player. This amount represents only the compensation for the period the athlete stays at Fiorentina.

The Portuguese club explained that the deal could reach 25 million euros. This total amount would include any future obligations or purchase options that may be activated during or after the loan period.
