NATO and the European Union indicated on Tuesday that they are preparing new measures against Russia in response to a hybrid drone attack carried out a month ago. The attack occurred at an airport in the German city of Leipzig.
The German government publicly attributed this incident to Moscow, that is, to the Russian government, considering it a hybrid attack against the country.
Both NATO and the EU expressed their support for Germany and indicated that they are working on possible joint responses against Russia. This case represents another episode of tension between the West and Russia in the broader context of current hostilities.
