Nestlé to sell vitamins and supplements division for US$ 1 billion to American company

Nestlé will sell its vitamins, minerals, and supplements division to American private equity firm Yellow Wood Partners for US$ 1 billion, according to a statement from the Swiss food giant on Tuesday. The transaction will allow the company to concentrate resources in areas where it has the "greatest competitive advantage". CEO Philipp Navratil classified the operation as "another important step in the strategic transformation of our portfolio".
