Parents of Children with Down Syndrome Create Association and Promote Entrepreneurship

Público1 September 2026 at 18:25

Parents of children with Down Syndrome created an association to promote entrepreneurship and social inclusion of their family members. The project was conceived by Brazilian Wanderson Negrelli and brings together families who work together in the production of various products.

The initiative consists of bringing the products made by families to fairs held in Portugal. The sales generate supplementary income for the household budgets of the families involved in the project.

The association seeks not only financial independence but also the valorization of these people's abilities, showing that entrepreneurship can be an effective form of inclusion in the labor market.
